Brodie and Amy ~ 09.08.2012

If it weren't for my one of my assistant's cutting her foot and having to go to the emergency room to have it sewn up, I probably wouldn't have booked this wedding.  Amy happened to be the one to sew up her foot and found out that my assistant worked for a wedding planner and Amy happed to be looking for a planner for her upcoming wedding.  I met Amy and Brodie and their family last fall and started on a planning journey not soon to be forgotten.  After many late night meetings and many, MANY changes :), we finally made it to the wedding.  The bride wanted a rustic, organic, natural look with a touch of class and elegance.  It was fun to design the unique decor and flowers that were perfect for this occasion. This was definitely a Oregon wedding that was experienced and enjoyed by all the guests!

Weldon and Beverly's 50th Wedding Anniversary ~ 09.02.2012

I had the pleasure of helping Beverly and Weldon design and plan their 50th wedding anniversary.  At first they were unsure what to do and where to have the party, but after seeing their home and yard I suggested that they host it at their house.  We setup reception tables in the backyard and hosted a dinner for 100 of their closest family and friends.  With lots of memorabilia from the past 50 years, a touching program, dinner catered by Lighthouse Center Bakery, a wedding cake replica, and beautiful flowers and décor with touches of gold….it was the perfect occasion to celebrate!
