Weldon and Beverly's 50th Wedding Anniversary ~ 09.02.2012

I had the pleasure of helping Beverly and Weldon design and plan their 50^th wedding anniversary. At first they were unsure what to do and where to have the party, but after seeing their home and yard I suggested that they host it at their house. We setup reception tables in the backyard and hosted a dinner for 100 of their closest family and friends. With lots of memorabilia from the past 50 years, a touching program, dinner catered by Lighthouse Center Bakery, a wedding cake replica, and beautiful flowers and décor with touches of gold….it was the perfect occasion to celebrate!

For this early September wedding, I was contacted by Evelyn, the bride's grandmother, to help relieve some of her and the bride's stress of planning and executing the wedding. I actually went to high school with the bride and knew of the groom from my frequent shopping at Costco, where he works. It was a pleasure helping them create this rustic/princess themed wedding held at Pyrenees Vineyard. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the flowers were abundant (including the Bride's favorite...orchids)...making this wedding one that won't soon be forgotten!

Cody and Tiffani ~ 08.25.2012

Every year there seems to be one wedding that peaks every one's interest. I get asked if I am the planner for that event and what it is planned to be. People want to be invited, help out, or just see photos as soon as possible. This year Cody and Tiffani's wedding was one of those events... and with over 400 guests, thousands of flowers, and planned to use most of the venue, it had every right to be so anticipated. The wine was flowing, as it should be when the groom is a vintner, and the wedding was definitely one to experience!
